Episode 58: ‘Gasparzinho’

‘Gasparzinho’ is a humanoid robot designed to engage in educational and entertainment activities, and to improve the well-being of children hospitalised in the Portuguese Oncology Institute (IPO), in Lisbon. From 2014 to 2019, ‘Gasparzinho’ interacted with people in IPO’s corridors, whistling, talking and inviting the children to play.
